Zebra were contracted to carry out internal renovations, including the formation of a new en-suite and construct a statement extension into the garden of this Georgian House. The intention was to combine the history of the building with the modern world. The extension comprised a mixture of flat and pitched roofs, using reclaimed Scottish slate and Alvitra Single ply membrane. The exterior walls were a combination of larch cladding and triple glazed floor to ceiling windows to allow natural light to flood into the room. The project was shortlisted for the Edinburgh Architectural Awards 2018, and featured on Urban Realm.
