Zebra was born in early 2013 after Jamie Menzies and Andrew Kennedy saw the need for a South-West London based construction and property development company which delivered a high-quality service.
With both having prior experience in the property world it was a good fit. Jamie working in property strategy for PwC / Arcadis and Andrew working as a chartered surveyor for a company that is now JLL.
Both founders followed their passions and gained experience in residential construction projects in London. Jamie having done two personal projects and Andrew having been involved in several developments of his own. This passion and experience have provided Zebra with an understanding of the complexities of the London construction market to deliver a superior service which has led to long-lasting relationships with their clients.
Almost 10 years later Zebra has been through quite a journey. Jamie and Andrew have grown the business significantly whilst keeping true to their founding values. Quality, trust, transparency and dedication is woven into every member of staff associated with Zebra and is reflected by its portfolio.
Zebra has developed from operating around a kitchen table with a handful of tradesmen to an award-winning business which has offices in London and Edinburgh, dedicated full time project managers for each project and well in excess of 100 skilled tradesmen via a network of specialist contractors to guarantee delivery of client requirements and standards.
Zebra’s focus remains residential construction and conversions of homes but has broadened its activities and now carries out developments for investors and joint ventures with other partners.
Zebra has a vision to become the foremost construction business in South-West London and beyond, known for its quality and customer centricity whilst building long-lasting relationships forged by the best experience offered in the construction market.
